What Gaudiya Sampradaya doing?

The Shastra says, of all things the human body is the dearest to God; the human body is the giver of the ‘Paramartha’ ‘highest good’ and is very difficult to obtain; and therefore, while this body lasts, without being immersed in any other thing, not being deceived by supposing that any other method except sorrow-stupor-fear-killing ‘Bhakti’ is productive of good, it is our duty unceasingly to practice devotion.

Other form of devotion to God is weak, the devotion denoted by kirtan is strong. Once the protection of the strong ‘Bhakti’ is secured it gives to jivas the highest good with little effort on their part. Therefore, by preaching kirtan at all times to induce, by right of the highest kinship, the whole of the jiva to turn Homeward is true universal love, true help of others, true kindness and the true duty of life.

The Gaudiya Math embracing all without exception the inhabitants of the universe, in sadness calling upon all to turn their face towards God to be preachers of this Bhakti denoted by kirtan, says,—

he sadhavah sakalam eva vihaya durat /
chaitanya-chandra-charane kurutanuragam //
–Chaitanya-candramritam, 90

“Yes, the righteous, bidding good-bye to everything from a distance, offer the devotion of your hearts to the feet of Chaitanyachandra.”

About Sri Nityananda Prabhu

About Sri Nityananda Prabhu

Srila BR Sridhar Dev Goswami

O Nityananda Prabhu, emperor amidst the personal associates of Sriman Mahaprabhu! Kindly grant this fallen soul deep and resolute faith in that pure and divine figure of Sri Gauranga. Lord Gauranga’s personality exclusively embodies the sweet nectar relished deep within the devotional mellows of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna’s pastimes. But if Your lotus feet are overlooked, then all so-called devotional orations and prayers meant for the highest worship become false, like a dream. I worship You, that great personality Nityanandacandra, who openly bestows shelter to the most fallen souls, freely granting the association of Sri Gaurangadeva

Vaisnava is Higher than sastra

Divine Words of His Divine Grace Srila B.R.Sridhar Dev Goswami

Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Maharaj

Practically, we should come in connection with the service of a Vaisnava. But where, whom to serve? I can’t come directly in connection with Him. Who can I serve? The Deity form of the Lord, the vigraha is there, the sastra is there—but in a sense these are superficial. The real substance we find in a Vaisnava, in his heart. Dharmasya tattvam nihitam guhayam. The Krsna conception, Krsna as He is, knowledge and love, we find living in the heart of a Vaisnava who directs all activities towards Him, towards His service.

What is Krishna consciousness?

Divine Words of Srila Sri Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Dev Goswami

Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Maharaj

What is Krishna consciousness?
Krishna consciousness means real love and beauty. Real love and beauty must predominate; not selfishness or exploitation. Generally, whenever we see beauty, we think that beauty is to be exploited, but actually, beauty is the exploiter. Beauty is the master, and beauty is the controlling principle.”

Whoever sincerely will help me to go towards Krishna, he is siksha guru.

The mood of Lord Gaura Hari is that of wielding a stick for chasing away the mad dog of Kali-yuga. He is absorbed in distributing the holy name of Hari, the great remedy for material existence. His heart is melted with compassion for the fallen souls who are suffering, and His transcendental form is very beautiful. Just worship the beautiful Moon of Godruma’s forest bowers.

TRANSLATION

Simply by associating with exalted
devotees, anyone can attain perfection of
knowledge and with the sword of
knowledge can cut to pieces the illusory
associations within this material world.
Through the association of devotees, one
can engage in the service of the Lord by
hearing and chanting [śravaṇaḿ
kīrtanam]. Thus one can revive his
dormant Kṛṣṇa consciousness and,
sticking to the cultivation of Kṛṣṇa
consciousness, return home, back to
Godhead, even in this life.

The divine principle of Anugatya

Divine Words of His Divine Grace
Srila Bhakti Rakshak Srila Dhar Dev Goswami

So, whatever awakening we have in consciousness, we shall utilize that by placing ourselves in the care of Godly persons; only then there is value of devotion to God. Those who know the value of devotion to God, they are our near relations. They will appreciate this inner awakening, and they will take care of my devotional self”. This is the ultimate benefit of sadhu-sangha”: when medicine or our own attempts cannot heal us, the doctor advises us to make a change.
