As written in Sriman Mahaprabhu’s Shikshashtakam, “Param vijayate Sri Krishna-sankirtanam: may Sri Krishna-sankirtan be supremely victorious!” is the Gaudiya Math’s only objective.

The recipient of all service, Sri Krishna, is the only enjoyer; everyone other than Him is to be enjoyed by Him.

Everyone, other than the Lord’s servants, is ignorant and self-destructive.

Practising tolerance is a resident of the Math’s foremost duty.

Devotees who follow Sri Rupa do not believe in their own strength, and they ascribe all greatness to its origin.

Chanting Sri Hari-nam and meeting the Lord are one and the same.

Those who follow muddled religious principles cannot serve the Lord.

By establishing printing presses, publishing devotional literature, and organising sankirtan programmes one will truly serve Sri Mayapur.

The symptoms of a sādhu are that he is tolerant, merciful and friendly to all living entities. He has no enemies, he is peaceful, he abides by the scriptures, and all his characteristics are sublime.

Such a sādhu engages in staunch devotional service to the Lord without deviation. For the sake of the Lord he renounces all other connections, such as family relationships and friendly acquaintances within the world.

Engaged constantly in chanting and hearing about Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the sādhus do not suffer from material miseries because they are always filled with thoughts of My pastimes and activities.

O My mother, O virtuous lady, these are the qualities of great devotees who are free from all attachment. You must seek attachment to such holy men, for this counteracts the pernicious effects of material attachment.

In the association of pure devotees, discussion of the pastimes and activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is very pleasing and satisfying to the ear and the heart. By cultivating such knowledge one gradually becomes advanced on the path of liberation, and thereafter he is freed, and his attraction becomes fixed. Then real devotion and devotional service begin.

sadyo hṛdy avarudhyate ’tra kṛtibhiḥ śuśrūṣubhis tat-kṣaṇāt

which means in English language :

Completely rejecting all religious activities which are materially motivated, this Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhagvata Purana propounds the highest truth, which is understandable by those devotees who are fully pure in heart. The highest truth is reality distinguished from illusion for the welfare of all. Such truth uproots the threefold miseries. This beautiful Srimad Bhagavatam, compiled by the great sage Vyasa deva in his maturity, is sufficient in itself for God realization. What is the need of any other scripture? As soon as one attentively and submissively hears the message of the Bhagavatam, by this culture of knowledge the Supreme Lord is established within his heart.

Don’t pay any attention to worldly people’s idle talks. If you have a desire to make progress on the path of your duty then no obstacles and dangers will harm you. In your spare time, you should read books like Kalyan Kalpataru, Prarthana, and Prema-bhakti-chandrika. Externally, you may show respect to materialistic people, but do not adopt their behavior; rather reject it within your mind and be firmly fixed on your path.

Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Saraswatī Ṭhākur expresses his joy and sorrow at completing his commentary on Śrī Chaitanya-charitāmṛta.

Śrīla Bhakti Siddhānta Saraswatī Ṭhākur completed his commentary on Śrī Chaitanya-charitamṛta less than one year after Śrīla Bhakti Vinod Ṭhākur departed, and to conclude the commentary, he wrote a poem expressing the attachment to Śrīla Bhakti Vinod Ṭhākur he felt in separation. Śrīla Bhakti Rakṣak Śrīdhar Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj specially requested that this poem be recited on the disappearance day of Śrīla Saraswatī Ṭhākur. While describing the events that took place on that day, he counted: “Prabhupād had his Anubhāṣya on Chaitanya-charitamṛta, and at the conclusion, he composed a poem in a very sweet and very lamenting temperament. I asked to read that poem of his and it was read.”

Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar MaharajŚrīla Bhakti Rakṣak Śrīdhar Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj explains the basis of his angle of vision.

My nature is non-interfering, from the beginning. So much so that I am called an ease-lover. I am not aggressive in a preaching mood, but only to know. The knowing aspect, the listening aspect, the aspect of inquisitiveness, predominates within me: to find new light from the scripture, from the words heard from my Guru Mahārāj. Every day, I can see, I can feel, new colour. Everything is infinite. Every word, every letter, is of infinite characteristic. I am internally busy with that in my last days.

Prabhu has written in his letter, “Your Prapanna-jīvanāmṛta and your tapes will enliven, will supply deeper roots, to the international society of devotees. If people come across this book and these tapes, their faith will be more consolidated in that society.” That is his conception, and I also conceive like that. After the departure of a general, there may come a general depression, but these things will help them, will give them similar food.

One may purify oneself by seeing, touching, worshiping, serving, and offering prayers of glorification and obeisances to My form as the Deity and to My pure devotees.
One should also glorify My transcendental qualities and activities, hear with love and faith the narrations of My glories and constantly meditate on Me.
One should offer to Me whatever one acquires, and accepting oneself as My eternal servant, one should give oneself completely to Me.

For the conditioned souls, the human body is most difficult to achieve, and it can be lost at any moment. But I think that even those who have achieved human life rarely gain the association of pure devotees, who are dear to the Lord of Vaikuṇṭha.

O dear friend! Let my friends criticize me! Let my elders chastise or reject me! Let people accuse me! Let my family become infamous! Still, my mind will not be distracted from the lotus feet of Śrī Kṛṣṇa even for a moment, for it is intoxicated by the pride of being attached to Kṛṣṇa.
